About Pixenza

Who we are and why the bootcamp runs the way it does.

You don't learn game design by watching — you learn it by shipping. That one idea is why Pixenza exists. We're a small studio-school in Campinas, built for people who are done collecting tutorials and want to actually finish games. The method is simple and hard at the same time: make something small, hand it in on a real deadline, and let a working designer tear into it. Do that four times in eight weeks and you don't just have a portfolio — you have the habit of finishing, which is the thing that lasts.

How it works

The intensive runs in four fortnight sprints. Every sprint you design, build, test and present a small game, and every sprint the brief gets tougher. It's fast on purpose — the pace is what builds the habit of finishing.

Who it's for

It's for Brazilian creators and anyone comfortable in English who wants to break into game design or level up from making games alone. You don't need to code and you don't need a big idea — you need to show up and build.

Who teaches

Critiques come from working designers across systems, levels and direction. Sessions are live and recorded; you're grouped by the kind of game you want to make so feedback is specific, not generic.

What we're not

We're a bootcamp, not a publisher or a job guarantee. We help you build real work and a portfolio you're proud of. Everything we run is educational; nothing on this site involves wagering, prizes of money, or games of chance.

Not sure it fits you? Talk to us first — we'd rather help you choose than sell you the wrong thing.
